The 9th annual Victory Heights Potluck/Ice Cream Social was held on July 18th after a gap of two years due to the pandemic and attracted over 150 people to a street next to the park.
Things picked up right where they left off in 2019 with community tables set up, plenty of food, free ice cream, and of course the fire truck from Station 40 for the kids to explore.
The Community Council received over $100 in donations both in person and online to help defray our costs. We were also able to promote Food Truck Fridays, and our monthly meetings (the next one, to be held in the park, will be August 15th).
