New Victory Heights House Asking $1.7 Million

This week, a newly constructed house on NE 107th Street in Victory Heights went on sale for an astonishing $1.789 million price tag, a new record for our neighborhood. Described as “refined Maple Leaf living” (ha!), the 4500 square foot house boosts five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. If you put a down payment of 20% ($357,800), the mortgage would be $7,791 per month, with annual property taxes with the new valuation estimated at $17,000.  Easy-peasy if you earn $110,000 a year, don’t eat, don’t use any utilities, and don’t own a car.

The original house at that location (see left) was an 880 square foot house built in 1941. It was demolished to make way for the new construction.
