The Thornton Creek Alliance will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday, October 24th from 7:15 PM to 9 PM at the Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Avenue NE. There will be a number of presentations about the presence of E. coli in the creek, including Eric Adman of the Sno/King Watershed Council, King County Councilman Rod Dembowski, Seattle Public Utility Water Quality Scientist Jonathan Frodge, and State Representative Gerry Pollet. The focus will be on “where do we go from here?”
The meeting is free and open to the public.

You’ll hear more about the recent Seattle Public Utilities two year study on bacteria levels in Thornton Creek. In some cases, the levels are fifty times higher than the criteria for a healthy stream. Come get the details, learn about the next steps, and bring your questions. Free and open to the public.
