Friday & Saturday, August 2-3: Lake City Salmon Bake 2013. Lake City Community Center, 12531 28th Avenue NE.
Tuesday, August 6th: Victory Heights Neighborhood Night Out. 6-8 PM, NE 106th Street, next to the park. Potluck sponsored by the Victory Heights Community Council, featuring free ice cream and toys for kids.
Saturday, August 10: Seattle Fire Station #40 Open House. 11 AM – 1 PM, 9401 35th Avenue NE. Tour the station that serves the Victory Heights neighborhood.
Saturday, August 17: Feet First Neighborhood Walk.
Saturday, August 17: Jokumfest. 11th Annual Jazz Festival, in back of Gary Schudie’s house, 2021 NE Northgate Way. Read about last year’s event.
Saturday, August 24th: Seattle Parks Big Day of Play. 10 AM – 3 PM, Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE.
Thursday, August 29th: Lake City Emergency Communication HUB Open House. 2:30 – 7:30 PM, SE Corner of Lake City Fred Meyer parking lot.
