Dancing Around The May Pole

The second annual Victory Heights May Day was greeted with beautiful weather Sunday morning as neighbors gathered around a traditional may pole in order to festoon it with ribbons. Organized by Ann Forrest just across the street from the park, the revelers were able to recreate this British tradition. Afterwards they retired inside to assemble the paper flower baskets which they planned to hang on neighbor’s doors. Thanks, Ann, for putting together this great family event!
