Hi Neighbors!
Spooky season is upon us once again. We’re excited to again present “Victory Frights” – our neighborhood trick-or-treating party taking place on October 31st, Halloween night, from 5pm-7pm.
Victory Frights offers traffic-free trick-or-treating and a fun way to meet neighbors. As we’ve done for the last three years, we’ll be closing down 19th Ave from the Victory Heights Preschool to NE 105th Street for an evening of lights, music, and treats, rain or shine. We hope you can come and join the fun!
Want to help out? There are many ways to get involved:
- Hand out candy! Victory Heights neighbors are invited to bring a chair and sit anywhere along 19th Ave in front of Victory Heights park to hand out candy. We’ll have tables (and canopies if it rains) for treats, trinkets, or whatever you’d like to hand out.
- Help set up! With so much to do, we’d love some help setting out luminaries and inflatables, setting up tables and canopies, and decorating the Halloween tree.
- Help tear down! We welcome volunteers to help us take down inflatables, tables and canopies from 7pm -8pm after the event.
- Donate candy! Not available during the event but want to support us? Candy donations can be dropped off at 10534 19th Ave NE and left on the porch anytime before the event. All candy donations will be distributed among all neighbors on the route during the event.

Spooking forward to seeing you there!
