Victory Heights Events Calendar

Here are events for late May/June that might be of interest to residents of Victory Heights:
Monday, May 23-27: Book Sale. Proceeds support the library at North Seattle College (very much a non profit!!). “Thousands of Books. Priced to go! Every topic under the sun.” All week 8 AM – 9 PM (4 PM on Friday), North Seattle College Library, 9600 College Way N.
Saturday, June 4th: Peddlers Village Faire Arts & Crafts Show. Art vendors from around Washington will be on hand. 10 AM – 5 PM, Lake City Community Center, 12531 28th Avenue NE.
Thursday, June 9th: Lake City Farmer’s Market opens. Every Thursday through September enjoy shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, crafts, meals and events for the kids. 3 – 7 PM, next to the Lake City Library on NE 125th Street.
Saturday, June 11th: Influence of the Confluence: The Thornton Creek Alliance sponsors this free family friendly event in cooperation with Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle Parks & Recreation to celebrate the completion of two water quality projects on Thornton Creek, the largest watershed in both Seattle and Shoreline. Live music, presentations, food trucks and activities for all ages. 2 – 6 PM, Meadowbrook Pond on 35th Avenue NE (across from community center).
Tuesday, June 21st: Victory Heights Community Council Meeting. This will be important planning meeting for this year’s epic Ice Cream Social on July 19th. Please come and help distribute flyers on your block. 7 PM in Victory Heights Park.
