December Victory Heights Events Calendar

Here are events in and around Victory Heights this month:
Wednesday, December 7th: North Precinct Advisory Council. Interact with members of the Seattle police department and participate in their sock drive. 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, North Seattle College, Room CC1161.
Saturday, December 10th: Lifetime Learning Center’s Huge Annual Book Sale and Holiday Fair. “Don’t miss out on this well regarded sale of over 4,500 books! Also for sale are holiday gifts, art work, poinsettias, jewelry, stocking stuffers, and baked goods. Stay for a hot lunch.” 10 AM – 2 PM, 3841 NE 123rd Street.
Wednesday, December 14th: Thornton Place Plaza’s Home For The Holidays. “Complimentary Refreshments, Live Entertainment, Activities for all ages, Free photos with Santa.” Get free movie tickets with unwrapped toy donation. 4:00 PM – 7 PM, Thornton Place Plaza, 301 NE 103rd Street.
Sunday, December 18th: Caroling in Victory Heights. For the fourth year, brave singers will walk the streets of Victory Heights and serenade select houses.  Want to come along, or get a visit (need to be 1/2 mile of Victory Heights Park)? Tuesday, December 20th: Victory Heights Community Council Meeting: The focus will be “Crime Prevention & Response” and will feature speakers from the Seattle Police Department. It will occur during Gluten-free Baking Week, so bring a sample of your favorite gluten-free baked good along with the recipe. 7 PM – 8 PM, Co-op preschool building in Victory Heights Park.
Friday, December 30th: “Finding Dory” free screening at the Lake City Seattle Public Library. 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, 12501 28th Avenue NE.
