Food Truck Fridays returns for a third year on June 2nd at the usual location on 19th Avenue NE across from the park. There will be 3 trucks per week typically, with a rotating selection of 15 trucks to avoid repeats during a month. The hours this year will be 5 PM to 8 PM. On June 9th the third truck will be substituted by a bake sale by a local school. We need volunteers to sign up to help set up and tear down. Click here https://signup.com/go/iwZYXjS to sign up.
On Sunday, May 21st, the Northeast Tool Library is having their Spring Tool Sale from 9 AM to 3 PM at 10228 Fischer Place NE just off Lake City Way. Hundreds of tools, silent auction, baked goods, and coffee. And it’s “Pay what you want.”
Sunday July 9th will be the Buy Nothing “yard sale” from 9am – 2pm. Neighbors will be setting out free stuff, “yard-sale” style, in driveways and along roads, but at NO COST. Sharing what they no longer need with you and with each other. Ways to participate: Host your own FREE “sale”, big or small. Sign up to get your sale on the map! Visit the “sales” during this FREE event. Explore your neighborhood, get to know your neighbors, and score some awesome free stuff. Check out the current map of “sales”! Questions? Check out the FAQ or email MapleLeafFreeYardSale@gmail.com.
And it’s the 10th Annual Potluck & Ice Cream Social on Monday July 17th starting at 5:30pm on NE 106th St, next to the Park. We need folks to help organize! https://signup.com/go/WKKRTYr
